How can i enable the time and date to be displayed when listening to my voice messages. The customer does not want to open the message envolope by pressing 72.

Thats the only way to do it, short of using the Unified Messaging client to view/play messages.

I have a Demo system in the office and it displays the time and date when listening to messages without you pressing 72

Your system is probably set to norstar voicemail instead of call pilot interface.
