I've been tooling with an S8300 for a friend. The time is off and I can not change it via the Aura Call Manager. Do I need a Linux command at the S8300> prompt and is there any danger in adversely affecting the Voice Mail and Call Processing.

I change mine though the web interface. I have a s8710.

From Linux bash shell

sudo date --set="Fri Feb 7 09:01:10 MST 2014"

What release? If its CM6, then the CM gets its time from "System Platform", which can have NTP setup on it.
other releases you can setup the NTP in "Configure Server".
