I just took over a position for writing reports in MS Access 2000.
The reports are drawing information from an account package named
Timberline. In one of the forms, the users are supposed to be able
to enter a description of a check, purchase, etc. However, when I
click on the text field to enter the data, I get a *beep* and no text
is entered. I have checked the field properties and also the form
properties. They are both set to not locked. I also looked in the
code (what I could find) and I didn't see anything that would rule
out being able to input data in that field. Maybe I am not looking
in all of the right places or missing a checkbox or pulldown
somewhere.

Also, When the report runs for the deposits for the company, one of
the items is listed twice with the same amount. I have checked with
one of the accountants and the particular deposits is only listed in
the database once. One listing is Gulf Coast Specialy Foods and the
other is Gulf Coast Specialy Foods, Inc. However, both deposit
amounts are listed the same. How can I get this to only list once?

Any help is appreciated.
