tiled backgrounds

hey all... for the life of me, I cannot figure how to set a background that doesnt tile.. it takes me an extra few hours in photoshop to develop something large enough itself to take care of the tiling.. is there some function in front page that will allow me to set a background that doesnt tile?

Yes. Tables. Use your graphic as a background to a table and leave the page background as a solid color.
