TightVNC / Zonealarm GUI Mouse click problem

I've recently upgraded ZoneAlarm (free version) on one of my PCs to v6.0.
I usually vnc in to it (tightVNC). This works fine. Right up until I try to use the zonealarm gui on it. I can open zonealarm control centre, but all of the options within it aren't selectable (they're like flash or something). If I move the mouse over them they'll light up, but they won't recognise a click from the mouse. Worst part is that I can't get to them using tab either, it just selects the entire menu as a whole (and even then it's only for a second!).

Anyone come across this before?

I've encountered the same problem. I'm not SURE, but it seems to only occur with ZoneAlarm, and only when the remote machine is running Windows 2000. As a workaround, I've sometimes used RealVNC (or another VNC variant) instead, which does not seem to exhibit the problem.

If you ever figure it out, I'd love to hear the solution!
