Can anyone explain how to use tightvnc. I downloaded and installed it on 2 pcs. It works fine internally but not when I dial up and try to hit it remotely (ie. computer at home is running server and I am at the office) I see the host name is the internal IP 192.168.xxx.xxx so I am assumming that is why I cannot hit it. Do I need to give it a global IP address or how can I access that computer via the web or the "listening" tool?

Thanks in advance

I may not be understanding your question but....

If your home pc is the one you are trying to access remotely from an office network, you need to use the home pc's public (external) IP address and it must be live on the net.
