Hi all,

would apreciate some advice please

We have a Citrix Farm running streamed applications to our desktops over a WAN link.

users need to bring up TIFF files for reviewing , hence published MS Photo Galery. However latancy is causing major issues, is there any decent software which is better @ presenting graphhics files over cirtix?

i've tried MS Paint and this seems not to suffer from the same latancey, however not really practical due to interface.

Any help appreaciated

thanks in advance

TIFF files are relatively large compared to other graphic formats, so if multiple users are accessing these files then you're going to choke your bandwidth in no time. You may want to consider something like replicating the TIFF files to servers local to users (like using DFS shares), or you can try compressing your tiff files. Take a look at this to see if it helps
