TIFF OR PDF ?

I have a 112 page document and have tried bringing multiple TIFFs into InDesign (300dpi). After 5 or 6 TIFFs, the program shuts off. These images are very large so I decided to convert them to PDFs. I am ready to go to print and wanted to make sure that a PDF will have the same final printing results as a TIFF. Any help would be great. Thanks!

The program should not shut off with placed graphics. You may have greater issues to solve than simply converting to PDF.

Is InDesign fully patched to 2.0.2 or 3.0.1?

Just make sure that the PDFs were created with the same resolution and compression quality as your TIFFs.
