tiff image in ie

can i view tiff image using "<img src='text.tiff'/>" this is not working.i Google for this but it asking some installations and it is loading with viewer but i want only tiff image like gif gpg etc.

is this possible please give me suggestion.

I don't think tiff support is installed by default, you need to install something to read it.

but by installing those it is returning image with tiff viewer i want to view the image alone is that possible by any other istallations.
