This is a weird one. I have a legend R7 with a tie T1 from Qwest that I cannot seem to get their digits handed to me correctly. I know they are sending 599 to me beacsue i put this T1 into an IPOffice and saw it coming across Monitor, but i cannot get it to route to anything other than the operator (cover DID#? as it would if the legend didnt reconize the digits). I know hardware is good as I can put a different T1 into it and pass digits fine. Qwest refuses to do a vendor meet. Has anyone had a similiar problem with them before. I tried changing from wink to delayed and auto start. I tried completely defaulting the system and reprograming it. no luck. Please help.

Yes I did.

In fact, it was a QWEST problem.

They were sending the digits too fast.

My client's problem was because they were using DIAL PULSE, not TOUCH TONE.

Hopefully, you are getting DIAL PULSE as well.

If they sent the call to 522, it would ring 511.

THIS ONLY GOT FIXED WITH A VENDOR MEET.

Their field tech came out, I told him what I thought the trouble was (Dial Pulse digits coming too fast).

He put a test box on it, AND SAW THE SAME TROUBLE !

Within a few minutes their CO Tech was able to make an adjustment and get the DIAL PULSES SLOWED DOWN.

Of course, the cheap and dirty fix would have been to go to Touch Tone, but as I recall, QWEST said that's now how it was ordered.

Good Luck.

OOPS!

Touch tone should work OK, UNLESS, you have no Touch Tone Receivers.

What modules do you have?

what boards dont i have. this thing has all 17 slots filled. i think im good on TTR's. i have a second T1 that is fine.

OK Fine, is your other T1 a PRI or not?

Whatis the 517 Number of the PRI 100D Module?

Do you have any 16 Port Modules?

All of these things could contribute.

HOWEVER, usually, if you have the mix of "NEWER" DS1 mods and 016 Mods the pipe won't come up or stay up at all.

We may be chasing ghosts lookint at the Legend Hardware, but it is at least worth a shot finding out what we are dealing with here.
