We've got two TIE lines on our system using E&M ports. They are set to auto-answer so that calls will be routed directly to the extension being dialed.
Most of the time this works, but sometimes it doesn't. Instead of going to the proper extension, it will go to the receptionist. It may or may not give one ring at the extension before moving to the receptionist.
When it rings at the receptionist disk, it gives the extension name being called on the display, so the receptionist thinks its a call from inside the office and not from one of the remote offices.
Since it is an intermittent thing, we can't quite pin it down as to what the problem is.
Anyone have any clues?
Thanks,
Westley
