i want to remove the program tab from the start menu. can i do this?

basically all i want on the start button is windows security . or if i can call find out what the exe for this is
ie - how do i actually call the ctrl alt del program

also if i can do this is it possible to remove the start menu totally

You can remove items from the start menu using group policies.

Not sure if you can remove the start menu all together or not.

I created two icons for locking the workstation and for logging off.

Lock: %windir%\System32\rundll32.exe user32.dll,LockWorkStation

Logoff: %windir%\system32\shutdown.exe /l

the reason i want the security is for the change password option as i have already delivered the shortcut for logoff

it's just the crappy outlook express that i cant get rid off
everything else is fine from the gpo

i'm going to play with the ntfs on the directories to see if i can get it from there

i'm going to use volatile profiles so i cant use a crude delete after creation type idea
