I have an option 11 in one room and a option 61 in another room and need to know how to tie them together. I really need the physical connection between the two.

Thanks Mike Yarberry

Easy way is a couple of analog ports on both fed to trunk card on the other with simple acces codes or other simple ways to access/dial/answer. Or get digital trunk cards and and set up a TIE trunk route

MIKE

I have tie trunks and routes built, I think what i am missing is there something that needs to be between the 2 switches such as copper I know we can't use fiber on the 61.

I'm pretty sure you can run copper between them and configure a psuedo T1 connection.

you can use a simple patch cord and connect it to pri's in each switch.. all you need if your going to build a pri between two switchis two pair... on the rj-45 pins 1,2 4,5.. on a dn 9 pins 1,3 9-11.. they need to be rolled, ie on one end use 1,2 4,5 so the far end will have to be 4,5 1,2.. you do not need csu's for that ckt..
