Ticket Numbering Help!

I have a ticket design layout with six tickets on a page. I need to find a way to number these tickets without individually changing each number. I know it can be done if there is only one number per page, but not w/ several.

Doe's anyone have a solution, even if there is some other software I could use for a mac, let me know.

Create a TXT file of all the numbers to use:

0001
0002
etc...

(place a line break between each number)

On the master page create 6 linked frames that are only large enough to fit one line.

Go to page one and place the TXT file to fill those frames. Hold the shift key while placing the text in the frame to allow it to auto fill through your document.
