THUNDERBIRD - CONNECTION PROBLEM

Hi

Some of my colleagues are using Thunderbird (version 1.5.05) and are receiving the error below. Thunderbird uses SSL port 993 and goes through an ISA 2004 server. We have tried to reduce the cache, but the problem still persists. Can anybody help?

"Unable to connect your IMAP server. You many have exceeded the maximum number of connection to this server. If, so use the Advanced IMAP Server Settings dialogue to reduce the number of cached connections"
