Hi All,

I have been trying to setup a Thru-Dial service in Call Pilot, I have created one in Application Builder, I think I have a missing link?

I have setup a Phantom DN, which I would like to point at the Thru-Dial service,

I think I need an SDN to finish of the job for me.

Any ideas what the missing link is?

Thanks a million,

Killian

sdn is the interface between the CP and the M1 ...after the SDN you get a menu with options, and u define one of the options as a "thrudial" - typically the first digit of ur extension numbers

hope this helps

After you program the ACD number in the M1 and NCFW to the CDN of CallPilot, you have to make an entry in the SDN table to point the number to the thru-dial you created in Application Builder. When you build the thru-dial you had to name it. When in SDN, add the number and the select the name, in the drop down box, that was created in App Builder. If you built the thru-dial correctly and recorded the message for the thru-dial it should work. Just remember, when you assigned the RPL (restriction permission list) the first number of the thru-dial must be removed from the restiriction list. RPLs come default with ALL numbers restricted.

A better way of creating a thru-dial is to use a menu box first with the option (1 to 9) connected to the thru dial. Usually the option is the first number of the ext you are trying to dial. Dont forget to assign a password to the thru-dial or menu you created so that you can record from voice item maintenance. To assign the password in App Builder, have the application open, go to FILE and then PROPERTIES and select the SECURITY tab and put in the password.

Hope this helps. Good luck and if you need any more help just post.
