Hey guys,
I just got thrown into some minor administration duties and was wondering where a good place to start would be. Basically, I need to know how to add a user and set their permissions. Also, if you guys could recommend some good beginning administration reference sites I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

Have a look at "Unix: The Complete Reference" it's not complete (it's only one book after all) but it is a good starting point.

There's also a good Nutshell book on Unix Admin.
