Throughput problems

We are currently using Arcserve IT 6.x . What I would like to know is if anyone has upgraded from IT 6.x to either Enterprise Backup or Arcserve 2000 and noticed faster backups. If you did notice a difference in backup speed what was the difference. 1 hour or more or just minimal.

There are many factors involved when shining your light on backup throughput speed. I doubt if just replacing the software will siginificantly increase this for your environment. Check the following link :
