Throughput Issue

Hi Team

I take the backup of Shared disks on the Storage Box AMS 200
and throughput i get is as follows

I use Arcserve to take the backup

C, D , E : local disk on the server ....Gives me a throughput of 1.5gb/min

P, Q, R ,S : disks on the San storage : throughput of 200MB/MIN

What are the parameters shoudl i check to get better throughput

Please help

are you using iscsi ? If so , enable jumbo frames, gigabit.
3.5 mb /sec is not fabulous anyway ... Are you seeing errors on your switches ?

Its connected thro a Qlogic HBA CARD ...There are no errors in the switch .
