Yes, you can have multiple users connected to the same mailbox.
Users have a different password for their individual "part" of the mailbox.
All users share the same extension number.
In Serenade write: ".l cos a " to list all COS attributes.
Search for the attribute with shared extension and multiple users.
If you have one extension number and several mailbox users then use the COS attribute #32:
"STATION HAS MULTIPLE MAILBOXES, ASK BEFORE CONNECTING.".
If you have several extensions and one mailbox, it can be difficult to divert to the Serenande.
Put the 3 extensions into a group and make group overflow/diversion to the Serenade. make a group mailbox in the Serenade.
The users can log in to the group mailbox in the Serenade and liten to their messages.
Thanks again for your response. When you say put into a group, are you meaning put the extensions in some sort of group in the Octel or a coverage answer or call answer group in the PBX?
