Three columns without the gaps

I have a field of varying height.

When I change the page setup to configure for three columns, it sets a fixed height for each "cell" and the page looks like a table organization (obviously without the lines).

So now there is gaps of white space in the report.

How can this be avoided?

Have you set the can shrink and can grow properties of the textboxes and the detail section?

Sorry for the delay, yes, they are all set to Yes.

It would appear the issue is that with three columns, it wants to make all "cell" height the same.

Any ideas?
