Threads of Servlet in WAS

Hello! my cuestion is about the threads that Servlet creates to handle the requests.
How can I destroy these threads or WAS is handled to do it? I don´t know well this sublect.

The Servlet class itself should not be creating threads. The Web Container will create a thread for each request that will utilize the Servlet. So to make the answer short, you do not have to worry about closing or destroying threads. You do have to worry about making your Servlet thread-safe though.
