Hi,

if you make a new View for your Discussion Board by using Front Page , it is Threaded but There are many limitations for filters (Choice column can not have value "Contians")

if you make a new view by going to Modify Settings and Columns -> create new view, there is not any limitation for filters (Choice column have value "Contais") , but the prolblem is you get not a threaded view,

I created new view without using Front page then i went to front page to find if there is some tag that decide if the view is threaded or not (to change it) but I failed. you can find it in a threaded view.

How can I have a thread view without using Front Page?

thanks

I have used the "Group By" when creating the view to give the affect of threaded.

FYI Make sure to read up on modifying Sharepoint pages using Frontpage. You don't want to break the site. Ghosted vs. Un-Ghosted

When frustrated remember, in the computer world there is almost always a backdoor.
