thread93-1056284

hey there, I updated my server to 6.0 and my sendmail is nolonger sending out the form that I want it to. It took me a half hour to find out where the queue even was and I'm having trouble finding out how to troubleshoot the queue. I have fromthe FreeBSD box used telnet to port 25 and successfully sent a test email that way so I'm part of the way there. When I fill out the form on the site and hit submit two emails appear in the queue, one with the info I'm sending and another which might have enough info for someone to help me. I'll post it:

I should have looked at this first, looks like my exchange server doesn't like the testweb name of my FreeBSD box, how do I configure sendmail?

got another issue, I'm trying to setup virtualhosts so that I have 2 websites on the same server and same IP address. I already have DNS setup correctly because before I tried virtualhost stuff I tried both addresses and both went to the same page on my server. So both my DNS and firewall have been configed correctly. So I went into httpd.conf and tried to add the virtual host stuff and my first attempt just threw 403 permission errors, and my second attempt did get apachectl start to work without errors, but when I try to access either site from the internet I get 403 again. I can access the primary site from my LAN though. Do I need to setup 2 Servername's on my bsd box?

SeanAIX430,

Do you have DNS records for both domains pointing at your public IP address? If so, it sounds like the problem is with port forwarding on your router.

This FAQ covers VirtualHosts. Setting up port forwarding is a little trickier, since different vendors have different setups.
