I am having the exact same issue on a 5.2 version of 3700 as well. Did anyone have a solution? Rebooting has not helped. I feel like this happened before and a reboot did seem to fix it. I did a search on the server for the file and no exact match. Found reportpluginadapter.a080.dll and the same but a294. I assume those are specific reports. Any help is appreciated!!
 
Is it error with every Report or only specific custom reports ?
Is it error also with US Standard Reports ?

 
Sorry I did not see this till I looked in my spam folder today. To be honest I am not sure if I tried other reports but after several reboots it was corrected. The report we use is called sales report. if it is custom, it was there before we got it. We have not done any custom reports. I did find an article at some point saying that a newer version of RES beyond 5.2 fixes this issue. We do not pay for support as Oracle proved to be a waste of money as support was virtually non existent. Do you recommend an upgrade or is that a waste of money? Thank you for your time

Did you have a Grey Screen if you open any report ? or did you have the error message in the log file ?
