Hi, I am new to Citrix;
Current setup:
Citrix P server running on win2003 server.
We have about 10 clients use citrix client to connect to the POS printer.
Issue, one of the POS printers stops printing, it will hold up the rest of the printers, because they all use com 2 to communicate with the printer.
Is there a method of automatic mapping of client com ports (in other words WITHOUT the use of commandline-scripts using Net Use and the like), thus allowing the use of equipment (card-reader/bank-terminal) on the client computers through an ICA-session.(this is a great idea from ShadowXP, I would definitely like to know the solution.
2nd issue:
Is there a way to change the Mac client login to show up in the registry as the computer name as oppose to the username? When windows users logon to Citrix P Server, it shows the computer name in the registry; it will be so helpful to use the computer name because we have a specific app that we need to get the report of it.
TIA
