Hello! I'me a bit confused about DISTINCT vs DISTINCTROW. I created a query that (pulls all records from one table)with all fields selected...in that case DISINCT & DISTINCTROW should give the same result for the number of records. However, I just found out that the result of one has one more record than the other. How is it possible???

Thanks for your advise,

Valeriya

DISTINCTROW has the following caveats

[li]Effective only if you are selecting from multiple tables.[/li]

[li]Effective only if you select fields from some, but not all, of the tables in the query.[/li]
