thread1361-1778700: Hi all, i need some help with a Nortel/Meridian system. i am not the person who manages it, but i am trying to connect a PBX system that connects to it Via a PRI circuit provided from it. we were able to get inbound calling to work but not outbound over the PRI. like 4 digit ext dialing or any out going calls at all. the person has admitted that he does not know how to program the Nortel for this to work. my PBX is set to dial a 4 dgit ext number or 10 digit for outbound calling with the appropriate access code for outgoing telephone cals and all but will not work.curently it works over a T1 E&M but with no caller ID info ( no D-Channel)for inbound-can anyone here help?

You can check them to make sure you have the right settings mentioned.

What system and software/release do you have?
Did you watch BCM Monitor to see what is going on?
Did you add the Dest Code into the public network in Dialing Plan and allow the 10 digits?
