I have a Sql 7.0 Server. It has all current patches. It is running one application. We have been getting errors which bring the server to a crawl. We have contacted the creators of the program, and they say that it is a problem with our server not their app.
Error 1
The VB Application identified by the event source logged this Application Poster30: Thread ID: 146, Logged. PJrn#359126 FAILED.
Error 2
The VB Application identified by the event source logged this Application Poster30: Thread ID: 146, Logged: IFM Error# 30914 (-2147190078,JournalsCls30::UpdateRecord Couldn't aquire newly inserted Jrn (370259) for update.
(IFM is the name of the program running on the PC)
We were wondering if the maximum number of threads set on the server has anything to do with it. It is currently set to 255.
Please help!
