I believe MS issues any new security updates on the 2nd Tuesday of the month (just past).

But this machine, (with auto updating is turned off) is showing only the 'malicious software removal tool' as a high priority update this time.
But I have read on a website that MS have released a specific threat security update this month (MS06-011)
All my previous update patches have a 'KB' prefix. Anyone know how they work this? And why this high priority patch isn't coming up in MS Update?

Ah sorry should have Goggled first.
The vulnerability discussed in the Bulletin (MS06-012 is a Security bulletin and not a patch) and it doesnt apply to XP SP2 which is what I am running!

We all have a DOH moment once in a while, aswell...

I do not use Automatic Update at all, I usually wait one or two days (Wed or Thu) and then go to the Technet Source and peruse the Security Bulletin, and then DL them one by one, so that I have them accessable when I have to do a reinstall/new install, etc...
