I assume you are using AOL? First step for me would be to dump AOL. I have reached the point where I won't even tackle AOL issues for clients anymore. Their networking stack mucks the the rest of the network configs so bad it causes nothing but headaches. This is a know issue and is the basis of a multi-billion dollar class action law suit against AOL as we speak.
But, if you really want to fight with it, call AOL since their app is causing the problem.
