Heh... good one. I can understand people using NS, but who in the heck would want to use AOL?
 
I can't even understand people using Netcrap.

that's funny! although i have been 'gaining' a little respect for the ns6+...now my problem is opera...

what do you think about the internet, as far as what browser the common (and uncommon) joe user has...

I don`t know about the internet as as whole but the average visitors I get between a few of my sites are as follows:

Internet Explorer v6.0 40.72%
Netscape v4.0 17.64%
Netscape v4.7 18.64%
Internet Explorer v5.0 6.51%
Internet Explorer v5.5 5.75%
Unknown/Other 3.83%
Netscape v4.6 2.30%
AOL's Browser v7.0 1.15%
Netscape v4.5 0.77%
Netscape v6.0 0.77%
Spider/Crawler (Unknown/Other) 0.77%
AOL's Browser v6.0 0.38%
Internet Explorer v4.0 0.38%
Netscape v3.0 0.38%

Your statistics doesn't give any useful info if it's not accompanied by such comments as:
what geographic area it represents;
what methods of collecting this data you use.

The statistics you presented here is not objective without it.

 
Hi Starway,

The reason I posted that was to point out that not everyone uses IE. I admit that most of my visitors do but not by much.. I personally use IE and I cannot see why anyone would use netscape but from a designers point of view, I do not want to ignore nearly 50% of visitors to some of my sites.

BTW.. I am in Scotland and the stats are global.. Visitors are worldwide.. There is no sure fire way of telling where your visitors come from unless you ask them..
