Hi All,

I have a problem with a report. The following message is shown :"This Formula cannot be used because it must be evaluated later."

In the report we have a subreport that rerurns a value to the main report. In the main report when I try to use this value in teh Seleciton Criteria I get the above message. How can this be solved?

You cannot use a value from a subreport in your selection criteria, since the main report starts running before the subreport. You might try making the subreport your main report, and the main your subreport.

tell us what you are trying to do in detail and we should be able to help.

sounds like you have the subreport/main report mixed up.

Perhaps you could use a parameter instead of a subreport value
