Hi,
I am working in a Interdev project file; I am working in the master mode. I moved the project to another place in the server.

When I view this particular .asp file in the browser, it serves the old page only and not the new one. But when I check the server, the file physically doesn't exist. I tried to find all the files with that name in the server, and also tried deleting it completely. Even after I deleted all the files with the same name in the server, the old version of the file keeps getting served, instead of a Page not found error. I don't know where the heck the file is coming from. I tried to empty cache and delete temporary files etc.. But it doesn't seem to help.

My problem in short is, I am not able to update that asp file at all.. I am editing it in Interdev, I tried writing it on the server and did all that I can. But, Nope..

Have you encountered this situation ? I don't want to give up. Can you help me please ? Thank you...
RR

Sounds like your server (or your proxy) is caching the page and reserving it when you ask for it.

Only fix I've found for this is to reboot the server -- unless you just want to wait around for a while. It will eventually go check for a newer version, see that it's not there, and tell you so.

John, Paul Thank you.

It happend like this since last evening. I just now restarted the server now. Guess what... It worked.. Thank you very much again Paul...

Well, if it caches, then it should be physically present somewhere in the server, right ??

But even though I deleted all the files with the same name, it served it again and again. Any guesses, where it would have been stored ??

Thank you very much Paul, and John. Thank you...
