Has anyone else had issues with the USB connections on the Dock II (2877). It seems as though there's a weak connection or the cards easily die...

We received a group of 8 IBM T42's with Dock II's:
1 Dock II was bad out of the box. Couldn't get USB on the dock to power anything. Interchanged several computers (Known good computers wouldn't power USB on this Dock).
4 Dock II's mysteriously died. After plugging/unplugging multiple USB devices into Dock, they would suddenly stop working. Computers on affected Docks could be moved to known good stations with same USB devices and run fine.
1 Replacement Dock II died within few hours. We drive several items from USB. Plugged in 2 items (neither self powered). Then plugged in 1GB USB key and that was all she wrote. Couldn't get Dock to power USB for any computer.

I'm thinking that the port to card connection is weak on these. The USB ports wound up with a lot of freeplay and would hear a "click" from time to time.

We eventually got vendor to swap out Docks for Port replicators. Waiting on those at the moment, but wanted to see if this is an issue for anyone else with Dock II's and heavy USB usage...
