Thinking of moving from ArcServe v7 to ArcServe v9.

Hi,

I am in the process of testing out a 30 day trial version of ArcServe v9 for Netware. I currently run Arcserve v7 in a mixed Netware 6/5.11 environment.

I am completely frustrated Admin of v7 and the time has come to convince the boss to spend the cash to upgrade to v9.

So far in trials it has been allot more stable. Please read the documentation I found:

It mentions the following in the above links:

In certain tested configurations] restores that did not utilize the NetWare Agent (NWAGENT) were over 200% faster than those made with the agent. This occurred with either ARCserve 7 or ARCserve 9. Backups were faster using the NWAGENT than without, while restores were slower.

So my question is who do you perform backups without using NWAGENT?
