Thin Skin Voice Mail with Separate Lines

I am relatively new to the Vodavi product; am installing my third one. This system is shared by 2 separate companies. One has five lines and one has six. I would like to each company only have line appearances of their lines, and then have an automated attendant for each group of lines. Is this possible? Where would you start with the programming? Thanks in advance for any info. D

What Vodavi System and software level are you working on, and don't you mean "in-skin voicemail?

Told you I was a rookie Yes, it is "in-skin" and the vodavi is an STSe - fairly new. I think when I power it up the display says scout something. My client moved here from another state. It looks just like the new ones I buy. D

You will want to start with flexible button programming and program the extensions for the proper line numbers on the line keys at the phones that need only those lines. There is alot of programming to be done so read your manual. You will have to do line ringing programming as well. I would start with flash 50 programming and program a range of extensions first for the proper line appearances and the go to flash 40 and do the ringing assignments. Read the sction for voicemail carefully. This is a single company voice mail, but there are work-a-rounds to try to accomplish what you need to do. Call tech support when onsite to help you because there is a great deal of programming to do. Good Luck...
