thin rules/border on tables

I can't seem to figure out how to get rules and borders as thin as the they are on this stats table:


they are white on this table, but I've seen them that thin in black as well.

If you specify a border as "1" in the properties panel, they are really fat and I can't figure out how to do with CSS.

Any ideas?

You need to do this with CSS, insert a table into a new doc and have a play with it

With CSS its simple add a style like this one to your table: remeber to remove all cellspacing and cellpadding.
