thin borders after pdf export? 1

When I export a design, the resulting pdf contains thin boxes around some of my text and placed images. When I look at the properties of these items, the outline is set to none and these lines don't show up in the Indesign source file, but they are very noticeable when I preview the pdf in acrobat.

Also, the line are only around items that on my master page that are on all of my pages.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks
