I know this is off topic but I cant find a relevant forum, I use the programming forums here regulary however I have a little project at home and was wondering if any of you with electrical knowledge could help out.
Basically, Im placing a tube heater in my greenouse for the winter period and am attaching it to a thermostat, I have power in the greehouse so basically I am putting a plug top on a piece of flex runningthis flex to the thermostat and then some flex from the thermostat to the heater. The problem is I have a thermostat but Im not 100% sure how to wire it up to the thermostat.
The thermostat has 3 terminals, marked 1, 3, 2 and the wiring diagram is this
I would like to know which terminal the live from the mains goes into, the neutral from the mains then the live from the thermostat to the heater and the neutral from the thermostat to the heater...
Any help would be grately appriciated.
Thank you,
Paul J..
