Hi guys:

I'm new to Flash.
I've made a button. When I save it and publish it, the entire background of the button appear on the page as well.

How do I save JUST the button?

file>publish settings>html>window mode>transparent... may help

or alter the dimensions of the movie closer to those of the button

or set the backgound color of the flash movie to be the same as the surrounding area

to alter dimensions and back color right click and select document properties
