there was an unexpected error using the metabase Error -3

Whenever I click START in PWS in win 2000 I get the error message,"there was an unexpected error using the metabase Error -3" I have tried Uninstalling PWS then Re- installing can any body suggest a solution?

I just got this same problem today out of the blue. Did you figure out what was going on?

Just for you folks who were in the same boat as I was and couldn't find an answer to this problem on the whole web...Here's how I fixed it: Uninstall IIS, restart your computer and reinstall IIS. It does't work if you just remove and replace PWS. Hope this helps and saves you more time than it took me to figure it out!
