I got error message said that "There was an error retrieving data from the server: Crystal Reports: Print Engine Error " when I try to view a parameter report from ePortfolio. The parameter is datetime.

Are you running CE? What version?

Thanks for your reply.

I run CE 9.0 and I developed a report using CR 9.0. I can publish the report to the CE. When I run the report from CE, the CE ask the range parameters (datetime) for the report. Then I got error message said "There was an error retrieving data from the server: Crystal Reports: Print Engine Error "

WHat database and connectivity are you using?

Did you set the user/pw correctly?

This may be a driver issue, note that you should use Crystal supplied drivers for Oracle/SQL Server.

Do you have CR installed on the CE server? If so, try running the report from there, it tends to give more detailed error messages
