I am using Crystal Enterprise 9 and what I need to do is place the Crystal Enterprise user name (which is our NT user name) who runs a report onto the report. I do understand that under Special Fields in later versions of CE and CR I can just place this field on the report. But with Crystal Enterprise 9 I cannot do this. Can anyone suggest how I can do this with Crystal Enterprise9 and Crystal Reports 9?

Or if the user name is also the database login, you might be able to return that from the database, depending upon what database you're using.

The database login will not work as we run all of our reports as one particular user. Thanks. I'll check the UFL.

I can't recall which version started with the USER name special field, check under special fields.

I think it was version 10. I don't have it in 9.
