Once I go into DESIGN VIEW on any form the Resource Meter goes down and eventually gives the above message. My machine is Peniun lll with 10gibytes so I figure that it can handle this database. What is the solution?

The size of your hardrive has nothing to do with it. How much Memory (RAM) do you have thats the "32" or "64" or "128 number?
Access 2000 needs all the power you can give her "Scotty".
The solution is addmore RAM.
Also look in Explorer and see how big the .MDB file is you are opening.
Thats your problem to big a file for the amount of RAM
Increase your RAM
Now have you ever "Compacted" the .MDB????
First make a backup copy of the .MDB file.
Then Open Access 2000
Open the database .mdb
click the "Tools" menu then "Data Base Utilities"
Then click "Compact and Repair database" this will take a while
If you have corruption in the VBA code it will ruin the .MDB, thats why you made a copy to go back to.
If all goes well your .MDB should be considerably smaller.
DougP
dposton@universal1.com
