There is an application running on my solaris system (ver 5.8) and it will generate the log file everyday at 12pm. Is there any way to transfer this log file to my MS Exhange email address without enabling SMTP or sendmail utility on UNIX box. Due to some security reason I cannot enable sendmail utility. I am thinking about samba, is it good? Thanks in advance for your valuable inputs.

You can just use the mailx utility to email it to yourself. You do not need to enable sendmail to do this as sendmail only needs to be running as a daemon if the machine is accepting incoming email.
