Hello.

when i run a step in the Data Warehouse Center, it gives me this error:
There are no pages currently available in bufferpool "4096"

I saw the buffer pools and they have the same size in another machine where we make developments, and am lesser.

Someone can explain why?

DR

Diogo,

do you have any further info such as Sqlcode etc. In the meantime, think about these as possibilities.

increase the bufferpool size
decrease the maximum number of database agents and/or connections
decrease the maximum degree of parallelism
decrease the prefetch size for table spaces that are in this bufferpool
move some table spaces into other bufferpools.

It may be if you run it again it will work, due to less activity on the machine, obviously dependant on the underlying reason.

Cheers
Greg

There is one thing that i don't understand.
The machine is most powerfull, that the one of developments. And the parameters are equal.

Diogo,

as this isn't the dev machine, I'm assuming it's got a lot more data?

Greg

check the db2diag.log file whether it started with tiny bufferpools. that can happen when there is not enough memeory when activating the database.
