I am converting a Vfp 6 project to Vfp 9. Can anyone tell me if it makes a difference if themes is turned on or off when running on one of the older operating systems that does not support themes? Do they just ignore it, or will I get an error. Also, in general, any hints on using themes in the project if I don't know what the operating system will be. Will I have to maintain 2 different forms?

Thanks,
Auguy

Themes are ignored in versions of Windows that do not support them.

There's not a lot you, the developer, can DO with themes. They just affect the way some controls look. If your controls are pretty vanilla, just let the themes do their thing. If you've done a lot of visual customizing, you might get surprises and should probably turn themes off.

Thanks for the information and advice.
