I am completly new to Frontpage.
We have a company manual up and running on the web.
A new section of the manual needed to be added, it's content are just word documents that I copied and pasted into a blank pages. I added hyperlinks to these pages on an index page.
My boss actually set this up, and all though he has more experience than myself, we are both kind of perplexed with the following problem.
I installed FP 2003 on my pc. When I open up the project the home page is missing thematic sections (the cells that are placed around the page), even though the same theme he is using I am using on my pc.
So he emailed be the page again, and I imported it. Again the same result, the sections disappear. I can open the document in word (for instance) and see all the objects he has in place. But once it gets imported into the application that sits on my machine, all of the left and top cells are whipped out.
Does this sound familiar to anyone? What bugs me is even when i click on the page that he sent to me in windows explorer and the thumpnail image appears it show all of the sections...yet when it gets put into my program they are gone. And when we view the navigation, it does show all of the links that should be visible on the page!
