Has anyone ever had the problem where a new user is created, and when they logon, they receive an application set which logs them into someone elses data - without requesting a password.

I am guessing that this is a problem with the default user profile, but wondered if anyone had seen a similar problem to this

I am using WIndows NT4 Terminal Server Edition and Metaframe 1.8

Is this applications set internal or is it some other companies ?

If it is internal then I would suggest setting the client server location to one of your servers. I think PN looks on the local subnet to try and be helpfull when you first install it. Delete this application set and deliver a corrected appsrv.in and pn.ini for these users.

this is internal.

this is the first time a user logs on, so has no profile yet - and I think gets the default settings from the server that he logs onto.

I am trying to find where the default pn.ini and appserv.ini are located.

Mine lives at

C:\Program Files\Citrix\ICA Client

Cheers
Scott
